Description: Fantastic Renaissance Revival Victorian credenza in maple with satinwood veneer and rosewood moldings. It features applied buttons, carvings, and incised carvings with original gilt accents and fluted columns. The center door features hand painted soft paste plaque of a gentleman and reclining women holding a dove surrounded by a fancy brass trim. The interior is made of tiger maple. Most credenza’s of this period are made of walnut or rosewood, making this one most unusual in maple.
